[11/26/07]Well, I have to say this was a -very- hard decision to come to as there were SO many great and outstanding submissions (to the few who submitted) and for that, we will be rewarding everyone but the prizes listed below will still be handed out too!

+ Description/Objective: If you are here, you are here for good reasons. Whether its because you have an unfailing devotion to the wolf, or, you enjoy wolf RPGing and support the WolfSpirits pack; or both. None the matter, we are honored by everyones reason for being here to be apart of what was created for all. The objective of this contest is to draw a piece representing the contest them.
"My Wolf Within". Draw a piece that represents that theme. Think about how the wolf effects you. What the wolf means to
you. If you are RPGing your wolf, you may find it abit more different, more real. Share that with us. HELPFULL HINT: Answer this question when drawing.
"What does the wolf mean to me? How does the wolf effect me?" etc Be as creative as you can!

Description:With the recent going on's in the world of Wolf News, we've felt compelled to have/hold a contest where the contestants will be drawing a piece that represents their feelings against the recent "Approval" of hunting wolves in Alaska. They're is supposably 664 wolves to be killed be the end of the hunting season (Which ends in may). Most alarming is the recent news. Earlier this week, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s administration announced plans to pay a $150 bounty for any wolf killed in specified management zones -- provided that the shooter turns in the dismembered legs of wolves they’ve killed as proof.Alaska officials hope to kill up to 664 wolves before the aerial gunning season’s scheduled end on April 30 (more than 40 have been killed so far). Hundreds of wolves -- including pregnant mothers preparing to den -- could be gunned down and dismembered in the next five weeks unless we can stop them.
Objective: to create a piece that reflects your feelings/emotions towards the above stated. We like to see what the wolf means to you and how such a subject reflects your own feelings/thoughts.
Rules:1. Must be an original piece. Nothing created prior to contest
2. Involve wolves and your feelings and what it means to you
3. Keep in mind the DA submission aggreement/requirments.
4. Do not copy someone elses ideas. If you are caught stealing art/copying etc. you will be disqualified and promptly deleted from the WolfSpirits group and reported to the DA admins
